  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 1

There was a strange stillness. The birds, for examplewhere had they gone? The feeding stations in the backyards were deserted. The few birds seen anywhere were moribund; they trembled violently and could not fly. It was spring without voices. On the farms the hens brooded, but no chicks hatched. The roadsides, once so attractive, were now lined with browned and withered vegetation as though swept by fire. These, too, were silent, deserted by all living things. Even the streams were now lifeless.

This is a strange scene described by Rachel Carson, who is regarded as the mother of modern environmental protection movement。 Silent Spring is her representative work which lighted the fire of environmental protection in America and the whole world. Before 1960s, no books or magazines talked about things like environment and ecosystem. Such a phenomenon means that environmental protection had not come to people’s mind and the social consciousness. Indeed, the main opinion in human society from the very past about nature is to set war against or conquer it. In fact, many of human’s progresses are made on the base of such opinion. Rachel Carson was the first person who doubted the correctness of the belief and brought the topic under focus.

In Silent Spring, Carson described a miserable village which was dying under the using of DDT. The village used to be prosperous and beautiful. In spring, white clouds of bloom drifted above the green fields. In autumn, oak and maple and birch set up a blaze of color that flamed and flickered across a backdrop of pines. Then foxed barked in the hills and deer silently crossed the fields, half hidden in the mists of the fall mornings. She thought that with the using of variety kinds of pesticide, especially DDTs, the village suffered enormous and irreversible damage and gradually withered and died. Soon it became just like the one described in the beginning. From her fine and smooth describing, I can even feel the groan of the town. Moreover Carson also sharply pointed out that the deep-seated cause for the environmental problem is the human’s arrogance and ignorance. So she asked people to correct the attitude toward the nature and reconsidered the developing path of human being.

Carson thought that because of the antibody and differentiation, pesticides would never be completely useful. On the contrary, those more and more poisonous medicines, because of the enrichment effect, would accumulate in humans’ body. It’s quite sarcastic that we hurt ourselves much badly while hurting the others. Then she analyzed many poisonous components in pesticides. Those are all unfamiliar names except DDT, such as chlordane, chloronaphthalene, compound 497, etc.

Those things really make me feel scared. We are on the top of the food chain, and it is such a perfect and fragile system. We human beings are just part of it and we depend on all of the creatures who stay on the lower positions. It is so hard and ridiculous to try to match the nature. Only in the state does man have a rational existence. Every species have their value to be on this world. Then no one knows what would happened if we force them to disappear. For example, let’s imagine the food chain as a meticulously made castle built by billions of little blocks and we human beings are the top one. There might be several tiny blocks on the bottom which you think is useless and dispensable. But what would happen if we take them away? Perhaps nothing happened, and perhaps the whole castle ruined.

Destruction is always much easier than recovery, not counting those incurable ones. Humans always think that we are much cleverer than the other animals, so we become more and more conceited and firmly believe that we are the king. We didn’t see that the nature is so magical and knows how to revenge. The pay back is much more violent and cruel. We need balance and order. The nature has its own rule. Our aim is to use it and live in harmony with it. The ecosystem is so delicate that even a tiny disturbance could lead an unexpected consequence, just like the butterfly effect.

At the last chapter, some scientists came up with other ways to solve the pest problem----biotic control. There is now a bly running tide of interest in chemical sterility. Those sterile insects are released and mate the normal ones so that they won’t have any larva and get extinct gradually. This solution seems to be reasonable and helpful, but thinking about it carefully, you’ll find that it is just another way to ruin the food chain castle. Not only spring, but also summer and autumn would be still and silent in the future.

It is lucky that Rachel still kept her mind clear. She didn’t agree with the way of conquering the nature. At the very end of the book, she wrote, The ‘control of nature’ is a phrase conceived in arrogance, born of the Neanderthal age of biology and philosophy, when it was supposed that nature exists for the convenience of man. This sentence can be regarded as the book’s theme topic which is widely quoted in all kinds of articles about environmental protection.

Carson is a great woman and fighter. When writing the book, she was suffering from huge pain of the operation for mammary cancer. After the book was published, the widely affect brought her not honor and fortune, but fierce attack from the chemical estate. She died only one year after the book’s publishing. On the spring of 1964, the great woman passed away, but Silent Spring made her voice never silent.

The 20st century was a time that technology and economy developed rapidly, especially the 40 years after Silent Spring was published. But every spring, when flowers bloom, trees sprout, and water begins to flow, we used to recall a woman and her enduring works. We opened the window, and wonder if the spring is silent today, if it will be silent tomorrow.

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 2

The author of Silent Spring is a lady. This book was published in 1962. Its existence is a kind of reform, a reform in the aspect of ecological environment protection. The publication of this book has caused a lot of work pressure to the creators and fought against the butchers who pollute the environment. Because of the different times, the content of this book seems to be a kind of basic common sense to everyone, so the content of this book will make everyone feel a little boring. Therefore, I hope that when reading the article, we can adhere to the following criteria, integrate the local conditions at that time to discuss the contents of the book, and try not to read the article as much as possible.

In addition, the authors narration and description make the book have a relatively soft and relaxed atmosphere, but this kind of relative relaxation and relaxed atmosphere make the grim situation of the problem more prominent. In fairy tales, the natural environment has always been full of flowers and birds. However, when the flowers and birds in childrens work become thousands of miles away, when the river and sand are completely covered, the grace of childrens work has lost more than half, making the difficult situation stand out without doubt! In this book, the creator didnt use some unfathomable proper nouns and technical terms to talk to herself. She made people read the article according to strict thinking logic. For me, the most classic scene is the analysis of the decline of birds, which is step by step and exciting.

After reading this book carefully, there are three points that make my memory deep. The preface is very strong for the creator to protect the ecological environment; Proof of opinions in the content of the article; Expectation for the methods of protecting the ecological environment. The first point made me understand that it is not easy for tree owners to protect the ecological environment and it is difficult to get special support. As Yani Yi er often said, rachel carson fought against poor companies that pollute the environment with his life and continued to be brazenly vilified by his opponents. Therefore, today, it is only when he was a child that he shaped the concept of protecting the ecological environment, and he has a sense of responsibility of "bitter first, then sweet". Second, the content is relatively known to all. Endotoxin in food webs will continue to accumulate, endangering peoples physical and mental health. But when this conclusion was clearly put forward from the population of the 20th century, his innovation could be imagined. Moreover, the whole process of proving this view is also eye-catching, which is full of gentleness of ladies writing style and logical sealing of experts and scholars. In the third point, I clearly put forward my own idea of killing insects. Although I have certain limitations, I still find a way to deal with it, which is respectable!

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 3

Silent Spring was a controversial book when it was published in the United States in 1962, which marked the first time that human beings paid attention to environmental issues. Its shocking prediction about the harm of pesticides to human environment was not only severely criticized by the production and economic departments concerned, but also strongly shocked the general public.

Rachel Carson questioned the absolute correctness of this human consciousness for the first time. This emaciated female scholar with cancer died two years after the publication of this book. As a scholar and writer, Carson suffered unprecedented slander and attack, but her persistent thought finally lit a bright lamp for the enlightenment of human environmental consciousness.

Silent Spring is recognized as one of the most influential books in the 20th century as a milestone in the environmental movement. At the same time, Kasai was selected as one of the 100 most important Americans in the 20th century by Life magazine in 1990. Its a pity that she cant see anything except the effect of the work. But just before she died, she still had a sense of humor: when asked what she wanted to eat, her answer was: "Just like everyone else: hydrocarbons."

Life could have been very simple and happy, but our desires make everything complicated. We must face the fact that human beings are the biggest virus on the earth.

The world has changed because of thoughts. In this vast universe, it is the power of thoughts that drives the earth to rotate alone. And books are solidified thoughts.

Environmental problems, in essence, are all about the division of interests, especially in China, and the division of interests always involves the division of rights in deeper social and political issues.

Mother Teresa once said: The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. Today, when we are shocked by the deterioration of environmental problems, are we still indifferent?

If we dont solve the social, political and ecological problems and the indifference disease of modern people, it will be impossible to solve the environmental diseases, and our spring will be deserted ...

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 4

In fact, you can just flip through the first 16 chapters at will. As long as you open your eyes and look at your surroundings, you dont need to read the data again. The reality we are facing is far more serious than that described by the author more than 50 years ago. There are various factors that cause this situation, not just the indiscriminate use of pesticides and herbicides.

You cant take the old road of "pollution first, then treatment". I heard this sentence in primary school, and now I can still hear it after I have embarked on this road. This is a more amazing thing. Because here, political factors are far more serious than pesticides, just like the pest disaster caused by the killing of sparrows two years before the publication of this book.

Another road proposed by the author in Chapter 17 is actually the difference between fifty steps and a hundred steps. The introduction of alien species for biological control is the prelude to another species invasion. The original pesticide was replaced by organophosphorus pesticide, which resulted in eutrophication of water body. All kinds of so-called low toxicity and high efficiency pesticides used now, that is, hormone pesticides, are only technological progress. An acre of barren land covered with shrubs and weeds only needs to be sprayed twice, and all the herbs planted in the fields not far apart will die. I used to see my neighbors cats and dogs playing in the grass, but now they are gone.

Part of the reason for aggravating pesticide pollution is to change rice fields into cash crops in pursuit of economic benefits. As a result, there is no trace of weeds in the path in Tanaka. We can see the cruelty of human beings to other creatures. There is an example mentioned in the book that carnivores were killed to protect deer, and as a result, more deer died of starvation than were eaten. What supports the existing population is the massive use of pesticides. Maybe one day pesticides will suddenly fail, and the result is self-evident.

It is said in many science fiction novels that human beings in the future are like those produced in factories, not naturally propagated, but in embryo factories, and those who naturally reproduce are regarded as inferior people. We can understand the phenomenon in the novel if we consider the problems such as spermicide, oligospermia and abnormal embryo development caused by pesticide residues. In the past, human beings were born more and died more, and what remained was eliminated by the superior. Now, we advocate eugenics and excellent education. Which model do you think is more suitable for the laws of nature?

Genetic modification, whatever it is called, seems to be the privilege of "the superior", but it is actually the price paid by human beings for destroying nature. In the end, the ordinary people who cant eat "special supplies" pay the bill.

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 5

The unusual title of Silent Spring led me into a world without birds, butterflies and bees. How interesting can a book be without flowers and birds? This is my doubt at the beginning of reading this book, but it turns out that the content of the article is not as interesting as the title of each chapter.

The title of each chapter is interesting, or "Death" or "Catastrophe" or "Dead Water" reveals the depressing darkness without any cover. At the beginning, the author introduces the vitality of the earth. The author does not hesitate to introduce all the beautiful things in the world, and describes the vitality of all things in detail, even the trout in the pool, which makes people deeply intoxicated with the colorful world described by the author.

The author quickly substituted the atmosphere into the theme of "silence", which also made readers feel the urgency of this environmental change as if they were there. Humans have been fighting against "pests" for nearly a century, but they have not controlled their harm. More than a hundred years later, mankind has not given up the wrong route of killing "pests", but has gone further and further. This mistake made by the West in those years is now repeated in China. The "war between man and insect" did not dampen the spirit of "pests", but "pests" became more and more brave under the tempering of various pesticides invented by human beings. At the same time, she described in detail that the plan to kill gypsy moths killed fish, crabs and birds at the same time. She also described in detail that the plan to kill fire ants killed cows and pheasants, not fire ants, which more convincingly explained the great harm to nature by improper means.

Through "mysterious chemicals" and specific figures, the author explained the harmfulness of "poison" to readers in detail. Words such as "poisoning to death" and "virulence" frequently appear in the text. Through these repressed words, we can realize the inner torture and pain of the author when he wrote these contents and saw that the world was deeply polluted by pesticides. The culprit of this situation is pesticide DDT, but ironically, DDT turned out to be a Nobel Prize-winning achievement. The author appeals to the public to stop using those inappropriate means to carry out the so-called "save the earth" plans, which will eventually destroy life on the earth.

This book is not only an explanatory novel, but also the first appeal for environmental protection. In Silent Spring, the author reveals the impact of human chemicals on the ecological environment, which is an act that seriously endangers human environmental safety. She reminds people with examples in the book that human beings are starting to weave their own doomsday, and illustrates the toxicity of pesticides and other toxic substances by describing the pollution of water resources, insects and other resources. With the birth of this book, the concept of environmental protection came into being. Although this book has been published for half a century, it has never been forgotten because it plays a milestone role in environmental protection. In chapter 12, "The price paid by human beings", the author profoundly reflects that peoples understanding of DDT is ridiculous and superficial. At the same time, it can be seen that in order to verify the great harm of DDT, scientists do not hesitate to try their best and come to the conclusion that "it is irrational to spray pesticides on the environment by direct contact with the skin". At that time, environmental pollution was improved because of the publication of Silent Spring, but now, it is even worse that pesticides are not only used in farmland. Although it has been more than one hundred years, Silent Spring still has a certain influence on world environmental protection.

The original intention of Ms. Carson in writing this book is definitely not to completely deny the application of science and technology in modern society, but to try to tell people that short-term development at the expense of destroying the natural ecological environment is tantamount to self-harm. We have also seen good results-this book has rung the bell of world environmental protection. Although the photos of pollution all over China are still shocking, we know that the road to environmental protection lies ahead, but we have a long way to go.

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 6

Spring gives us the impression that birds are singing and flowers are fragrant, and everywhere is full of vitality. But why does the author of this book say that spring is silent? After reading Silent Spring, I realized that the failure to transform nature according to my own wishes led to many problems.

In particular, the emergence of a large number of chemical drugs not only generally destroys the environment on which human beings live, but also generally harms the animals and plants living in it, and even harms human beings themselves, but human beings know little about the consequences of their own actions. In fact, we hurt not only animals and plants, but also ourselves.

I remember once, my mother said that there were a lot of bugs in my grandmothers house, so she asked me to spray them with insecticide. After spraying, my bird suddenly died. I used to think that birds died alone because they were not free. Until today, I didnt realize that I killed insects and lively birds with the power of pesticides. If I had known this truth, I might have thought of other ways. Now that I think about it, I might as well not keep that bird! Im sorry!

In fact, in life, we are paying for the bitter wine we brew. Many of our favorite animals and plants are on the verge of extinction because we euphemistically call them beneficial to mankind, and even lead to frequent natural disasters. But we didnt realize that it was our own doing. We should let nature and us help each other, let nature serve us reasonably, and of course, we should also repay nature. All we want is better living resources, and what we naturally want is harmonious coexistence.

If everyone can understand the importance of protecting the environment, then smart humans will not use those chemicals to remove pests. So is our world cleaner and more dynamic? Blue sky, clear water, red flowers, green trees and fresh air are not something we can have by opening our eyes every day.

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 7

In 1962, she clearly knew that she would be attacked by the chemical industry, but he still explained the importance of protecting the environment with unique insights, accused human ignorance with countless bloody facts, and sounded the alarm. She is Rachel Carson, a natural literature writer, and this book is Silent Spring.

There used to be a small town in the United States, with beautiful environment, blue sky and green Yuan Ye. Through the gap in the forest, you can also see a few lively squirrels wandering in the forest, foxes barking in the mountains, the river is clear there, and the bottom can be seen at a glance ... All this makes people feel comfortable.

But since the first residents came here, they began to cut down and dig wells to build warehouses. Gradually, things changed. There are no birds and flowers here, no squirrels, no crystal clear rivers. Looking around, you can only see a few dying birds. They cant fly. Being quiet around makes you feel terrible. Silence enveloped the whole town.

What caused all this? People killed insects and weeds with pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals, which made many creatures disappear without a trace. When human beings carry out this self-righteous "great" task, they do not know that they have also destroyed the environment of the only earth where they live.

Arent insects and plants part of this earth? Why should we use brute force to deal with them who live on the earth? For the convenience of life, we invented and used many chemicals. When Silent Spring was published, the whole society set off an upsurge of environmental protection thinking.

But why in the 21st century, peoples abuse of pesticides has not improved, but has intensified. Why are so many people suffering from cancer and so many people dying from drug poisoning today? If one day, the sky is no longer blue, the river is no longer clear, and creatures are on the verge of extinction, how will people feel when they can only watch all this happen?

As teenagers in the new era, we should have the obligation to call on the whole society to stop destroying the last piece of pure land for environmental protection, and start from me, respect nature and care for the environment!

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 8

Before reading the book Silent Spring, spring was the representative of the revival of everything in my heart. All I can imagine about the scene of spring is full of vitality.

When I was in junior high school, I once looked through the biology textbook and saw that a class mentioned the book Silent Spring.

  Silent spring?

  Spring is actually silent?

Such a big contrast makes my heart restless for a long time.

I think the only way to solve my doubts is to read the book Silent Spring.

Therefore, all this became the beginning of my reading Silent Spring.

The opening of Silent Spring is a striking description: "In the past years of industrialization, hundreds of birds flew in the sky or sang melodious songs among the trees every spring. However, due to the extensive use of pesticides such as DDT, birds no longer fly and sing ... Can we still hear birds singing in spring? " After reading it, I was shocked and began to resonate.

"Every spring, hundreds of birds fly in the sky or sing sweet songs among the trees." Isnt this the spring in my mind? However, due to various reasons, "birds stopped flying and singing ..." There were no birds in spring, because there were no birds, because the big birds ate insects, and the insects contained pesticides ...

Imagine what a terrible thing it would be if we lived in such a place ourselves!

So what makes our beautiful world so horrible? "It is not magic, nor the activities of the enemy that make the life of this damaged world impossible to revive, but people themselves make themselves suffer." This sentence in the book gave me a great shock. It turns out that everything is caused by our own hands! The use of pesticides has cast a terrible shadow on our tomorrow. How can we get rid of such a scene? What kind of price are we going to pay for it? Everything makes me lost in thought ...

Someone said, how can we kill pests without pesticides? As mentioned in the book, biological methods can be used, which are very useful and will not pollute the environment. Of course, scientific research is not very mature, but it has a great future! There are many methods that can be used in practice, and we should try them.

Pesticides have brought death too close to us! We should be vigilant!

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 9

I have been a natural fan since I was a child. I like to look for insects in dense forests, pursue the figure of pika and marmot on the grassy grassland, and pick up shells at the sometimes calm and sometimes turbulent seaside. Even on the way to school, I often stop for the fallen leaves, fruits on trees and the songs of birds. But when I see these lovely creatures being invaded, hurt or even lost their lives by human beings, I feel sorry for them. This summer vacation, I read Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. This book was written in the 1960s. The author was a marine biologist and loved nature since childhood, so this book aroused my great reading interest.

Silent Spring begins with a fable and describes a beautiful and moving town in the middle of the United States: in spring, white flowers in full bloom are dotted on the green Yuan Ye, swaying like flowing clouds; In autumn, the colorful and bright colors of maple, poplar and oak shine through the forest as brightly as fire; Even if winter comes, there are flocks of birds pecking at the seeds covered with snow. But after the first batch of pioneers came here, they changed everything here. The flowers and grass have no color, the fruit trees cant bear fruit, the forest has no birds singing, and the ripples of fish playing in the stream can no longer be seen, leaving only a dead spring. In fact, this is not just a fable, but many real cases. In the last century, because people wanted to control pests and increase crop yield, they abused a pesticide called DDT. As a result, pests were not effectively controlled, but other organisms in the food chain were poisoned or died, including us. Rachel Carson advocated using this chemical pesticide as little as possible and choosing some biological control methods as a substitute, but the factory producing pesticides strongly opposed her point of view. However, Rachel did not give up, but tried to persuade everyone, collected a lot of data and real cases to write this book on pesticide abuse and environmental protection, explaining the harm of pesticides to everyone, and finally promoted the restriction of the use of chemical pesticides such as DDT and changed everyones understanding of environmental problems.

Spring is originally full of vitality, and silent spring is an unnatural state. After reading this book, I deeply realized that nature is an interlocking and endless whole, everything has its own operating rules, and each species has its own niche and meaning of existence. We humans should learn to be friends with nature, live in harmony, and develop and utilize natural resources moderately, instead of blindly controlling nature. As described in the book, controlling the results of nature, human beings aim at not only insects, but also the whole earth. This is really our great misfortune. To learn how to live in harmony with nature, we can get closer to nature and feel its beauty and rhythm. This summer vacation, students in our class spontaneously organized a nature observation activity in Huanhuaxi Park. Starting from the natural environment around us, we learned and observed a flower, a tree, a bug and a frog. We gained not only knowledge, but also fun, which will also help us treat our environment more kindly and learn to be friends with nature.

When reading this book, I still have a question. When Rachel put forward the idea of using pesticides as little as possible, many pesticide factories United against her. Didnt other scientists know the harm caused by these pesticides except Rachel Carson at that time? Actually, its not. Many scientists know it, but only Rachel stood up and told us these facts in a way that the public can read. Therefore, I admire Rachels courage and firm will. I also learned in the postscript of this book that Rachel actually. When Carson was very young, her mother took her to see flowers and birds. At that time, Rachel became interested in nature. Later, interest and enthusiasm pushed Rachel to a more professional path step by step. In the book, I saw a lot of professional knowledge about chemistry and biology. She also used many scientific investigation methods, and Rachels writing ability was also very strong. Her childhood ideal was to be a writer. These experiences of Rachels growing up have greatly inspired me and set a good example for me, which makes me more confident to persist and continue to study in depth on the road I love.

It is good to open books. Fortunately, I read this book this summer vacation. Although I still cant fully understand some of the contents in the book, this book will not stop thinking for me, and the inspiration given by Rachel Carson will continue.

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 10

Silent Spring is a book that triggered the environmental protection cause all over the world. It was published in 1962. It fictionalized a beautiful town and began to demonstrate the adverse effects of chemical products on the environment by contrasting before and after. I read this book for the first time in response to the call of "Building a Beautiful New VV". Building a beautiful new vv includes both spiritual strengthening and many small things around us, and strengthening environmental protection is also one of the things we should do together.

Silent spring points out the great harm of DDT and other pesticides to the environment, and uses words to guide people to realize the conditions for human survival when the nature is balanced. The book says, "Insecticides that do harm to all living things, such as DDT, should be called biocides instead of insecticides. In this regard, we should also extend to more products and wrong habits that are closely related to our scientific and technological life, such as the random discarding of batteries, the massive emission of automobile exhaust, even the random felling of trees, and the wanton killing of animals ... Although many people know the harm to the environment, they still dont think so, because most people are lucky, and human selfishness makes human beings short-sighted and give up long-term development only for immediate interests. I think the construction of beautiful vv should pay attention to greening and environmental protection, and the bus and subway systems should be further improved to allow more people to travel green; Promote the classification of garbage, so that more people know the difference and scope between recyclable garbage and non-recyclable garbage; Organize tree planting activities to cover vv with more green.

Silent spring describes an amazing picture for us, which makes people feel the final result of environmental damage. When the spring is full of flowers, there is a silence of death, and human beings should not be far from death. "The so-called control of nature is a stupid formulation. We should live in harmony with nature, respect and respect nature, because respecting life means protecting ourselves.

  寂靜的春天英語讀后感 11

Chinas economy is developing at a high speed, but with the economic growth, our bad environment is facing a series of problems. These problems, like chronic diseases on human bodies, slowly and imperceptibly erode our bodies, leaving us unprepared for them. Once it is discovered one day, it is already in an outbreak period, and nothing can be done to help.

In todays society that only pays attention to economic growth, I think Silent Spring has sounded a wake-up call for us. Its author, rachel carson, is determined to write this book for the sake of human happiness and the sustainable development of the environment, dragging her seriously ill body and enduring great slander and attacks. However, it turns out that everything she has done is worthwhile, and she has made great contributions to human environmental protection.

Originally, we lived in harmony with nature, and the world was so beautiful, but since people abused chemicals, all this has changed. In order to pursue economic benefits and make crops have a good harvest, people spray a series of pesticides such as DDT, aldrin, chlordane, dieldrin and andenaphthalene on the crops, which has caused serious pollution to the environment. Rivers, seas, groundwater, soil, animals and plants are not spared. This kind of pollution is difficult to recover to a great extent. Once it exists in a certain place, it will be transmitted through the food chain, and it has an agglomeration effect. That is to say, the higher the level, the more poisons will be accumulated on his body. Lets think about it, this is really beyond reproach. If the land is sprayed with highly toxic chemicals, then our vegetables will be infected. If animals eat it, it will accumulate on animals. Animals eat animals, and animals finally enter our mouths, and we also eat vegetables. Therefore, it is conceivable that this kind of indiscriminate spraying of pesticides is actually our own destruction. We are used to looking for those obvious and direct influences without studying other aspects. Unless this influence suddenly appears in an undeniable and obvious form, we will always deny the existence of harm. This is our human short-sightedness, from which we must pay the price for our judgment, that is, suffering from various diseases or having no place to live for ourselves and our descendants.

Some insects are really harmful, but it doesnt mean that we can poison other beneficial insects with this excuse, and what we do never seems to think about the consequences. Why on earth? Can we really be selfish in order to seek the most current interests? When will we wake up?

We adapt to nature, conquer nature, transform nature, slowly take nature as our own, ask for abuse from nature, but never make a little contribution to nature. Faced with all kinds of material interests at the expense of environmental damage, people compromised, which is the weakness of human nature. Now a series of environmental problems are constantly emerging, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, mudslides, landslides, global warming, ozone hole, etc., before people really realize how much mistakes they have made, because these are all caused by themselves and have nothing to do with the environment itself. Therefore, environmental problems began to be taken seriously, and environmental protection measures were increasingly put on the agenda. We have always relied on the material life provided by nature, and we should be grateful instead of destroying it by various means. This is not only a matter for one generation, but also for generations.

I hope that the silent spring will never come, and we will always be accompanied by green mountains and green waters, green grass and blue sky, and the songs of birds. Thank nature, although we have been wrong, we still have a long way to go, and it is not too late for us to correct it now. It is everyones responsibility to protect our nature, cherish our nature and live in harmony with nature. I hope everyone will sincerely care for our only home-nature, so that spring will never be silent and human life will be happier.
