Step Two: Grammar – The attributive Clause(2)

②This is the house that/which/省略 I visited.

在例①用where (關系副詞),因為它在從句中作狀語,表示there或in the house.

Harry Potter and the Disappeared Secret Cellar

Harry Potter and the Disappeared Secret Cellar is a follow-up to Harry Potter and the Magic Stone, which starts with the beginning of a new term when all the students should return to school. Just on the very night after which Harry is going back to Horgwardz College, a little spirit called Dorby appears in his bedroom, flying around in the air. Dorby makes every effort to prevent Harry from returning to school, warning him that an extremely terrible disaster will happen to him, which will put his life in danger. But just on the next day, Ron, Harry’s best friend drives his magic car which can fly to Harry’s home and picks Harry up to the Horgwardz College. During the few days around their arrival at the college, a series of terrible incidents take place at the college, in which several students have been turned into stone statues. What’s worse, on the wall at the spots of the incidents is always left the same sentence which says “The secret cellar has been opened.” Harry and Ron do their best to find the secret cellar at last. After many fierce fighting, Harry and Ron defeat the monster who has done all kinds of evils and get rid of him in the end.

The end of the follow-up is very exciting and catchy. As it will be on in many cinemas next week, you will surely be sorry if you miss seeing it next week. Don’t miss the chance!
