The topic of this unit is about vacation plans. This is an interesting topic for students. So all the activities in this unit are helpful to raise students ' learning interesting.
五 教學(xué)設(shè)想:
使大部分學(xué)生都能掌握所學(xué)知識和技能。使基礎(chǔ)薄弱的學(xué)生能參與到教學(xué)當(dāng)中來,以此提高他們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。例如,讓他們進(jìn)行簡單的對話練習(xí),鼓勵他們開口朗讀,積極參與到小組活動當(dāng)中去,培養(yǎng)他們合作意識。

《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》明確指出,基礎(chǔ)教育階段英語課程的任務(wù)是:“激發(fā)和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣,使學(xué)生樹立自信心,養(yǎng)成良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣和形成有效的學(xué)習(xí)策 略,發(fā)展自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力和合作精神”。按照這個理論指導(dǎo),結(jié)合初中生的年齡特點和認(rèn)知規(guī)律,針對這一課型,我主要采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)、直觀教學(xué)、小組活動等教學(xué)方法,以學(xué)生為主體,強調(diào)學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí),鼓勵學(xué)生大膽嘗試,運用語言,并在語言使用過程中,學(xué)習(xí)新知識。在詞匯教學(xué)方面,以圖片呈現(xiàn)句型,把單詞放到句型里教學(xué)達(dá)到直觀聯(lián)想的效果,對句型的記憶產(chǎn)生良好的作用。在句型教學(xué)方面,通過師生問答、生生問答、小組活動等方式,復(fù)習(xí)教學(xué)語言點,反復(fù)練習(xí)使用,達(dá)到熟練使用新句型。

通過合作學(xué)習(xí),啟發(fā)學(xué)生思維,培養(yǎng)合作意識。以《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》理論為依據(jù),教學(xué)本課時教師選擇大量圖片直觀形象的 進(jìn)行教學(xué)啟發(fā)、引導(dǎo)、觀察、記憶、模仿并表演新學(xué)句型,師生、生生進(jìn)行多維活動交流,以達(dá)到教學(xué)目的

Step1. Greet The Class and Review.
Warming up by learning about Present Progressive Tense
The present progressive tense takes the form be + V- ing.
The form of “be” is determined by the subject of the sentence.
He is singing.
She is listening.
They are sleeping.
I am going home.
In English, the present progressive is used to indicate actions happening at the time of speaking, or right now.
Jake is speaking to his mother right now.
Please keep quiet. The baby is sleeping.
The present progressive can also be used to indicate actions occurring over a period of time which includes the present.
I’m taking five classes at the university.
Grace is working at a chemical factory.
What are you doing these days?
The present progressive is sometimes used to indicate ongoing, developing, imminent or future actions.
Don’t bother Mr. Grumpy while he is watching the football game.

To be able to understand and use English, knowledge of grammar is necessary. Now go to page 14. Look at the grammar focus for Present progressive as future: Where, when, how long questions.

Warming up by talking about future
Hello, everyone!
Do you like sports? Do you like doing sports? What do you usually do in your spare time? National Day is coming. We all have a long vacation about 7 days. What are you doing for the vacation? Now let’s talk about future plans. Answer my question. You may have lots of answers, and you may use useful expressions to express your ideas.
What are you doing for vacation?
1. I’m going camping.
2. I’m visiting my aunt.

4. I’m babysitting her sister.

Step3.1a Making a list and adding some more
In our book, there are lots of pictures about the activities. Please turn to page 1 and look at the picture and tell what you see in it.

Step4.1b Listening and numbering
Do you like your vacation? Look at the picture on page 13. Name each activity. Then listen to these three conversations. Some students are talking about what they are doing on vacation. Each picture has a letter. Three pictures have boxes in front of them. Listen to the recording and write a conversation number from 1 to 3 in each box.
The first time, you only listen.
The second time, you fill in the answers. Write numbers in front of the three pictures.
Step5 1c Pairwork.
Now work with a partner. Ask and answer questions about the people in the pictures.
Then ask some pairs to ask and answer the questions as the rest of the students listen.
Step6 Exercise
Ask all students do exercise ,then let some students read their answers to other students.
