教材分析：本課是新目標(biāo)英語九年級(jí)第八單元第二課時(shí)。本單元圍繞I'll help clean up the city parks開展多種教學(xué)活動(dòng)，讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)用I'll help do sth.句型來回答別人的詢問和告訴別人自己幫助他人的經(jīng)歷。本課時(shí)是關(guān)于volunteers的一個(gè)閱讀材料,是一節(jié)閱讀與口語課，是在學(xué)習(xí)了幫助他人的方式和大量的聽力訓(xùn)練后展開教學(xué)的。通過鞏固上課所學(xué)的短語并進(jìn)行會(huì)話練習(xí)，使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)給他人提供幫助，通過閱讀訓(xùn)練，進(jìn)一步加深對(duì)目標(biāo)語言的理解和運(yùn)用。

學(xué)生分析：初三學(xué)生正處于感性向理性的轉(zhuǎn)型期，求知欲和表現(xiàn)參與意識(shí)很強(qiáng)，有一定的邏輯分析能力，同時(shí)也需要教師的積極引導(dǎo)。
