Step 1. Revision

What did you do during the spring festival? Everyone wants to be healthy and strong. But we are not always feeling well. Sometimes we get ill. If we are ill, we should go to see a doctor and the doctor will examine us and give us some advice. Today we are going to learn some everyday English used by doctors and patients.

Step 2. Presentation

Listen to the dialogue answer the questions:

What’s wrong with Sharon? (She has a pain)

Why does she have a pain? ( Because she ate some fruit that wasn’t ripe)

What advice does the doctor give her?

e. g. I”m a bit tired. I”d like to have a rest.

You”re driving too fast. Could you drive a bit slower?
