二. 句型及日常交際用語
1. Look at these clothes on Mrs Green's clothes line.看這些在格林夫人晾衣繩上的衣服。
句中clothes是復(fù)數(shù)形式,統(tǒng)指衣服(其中包括外套、褲子等),不特指某一件衣服,無單數(shù)形式。形容詞性物主代詞及some、the或these可修飾clothes。但clothes前不能加數(shù)詞,不可以說two clothes,three clothes 。
dress作可數(shù)名詞,常指婦女的外套、連衣裙;也可指男女的外衣。如:my clothes我的衣服,the man in black dress 穿一身黑衣服的男士
詞組clothes line意思是“晾衣繩”,表達衣服晾在繩子上時,要用介詞on。句中Mrs Green's為名詞的所有格形式。
2. What colour is Kate's blouse?凱特的襯衫是什么顏色的?
What colour are Jim's trousers? 吉姆的褲子是什么顏色的?
本課重點復(fù)習(xí)了第十三單元所學(xué)的詢問物品顏色的疑問詞what colour.還請注意以下三點:
(1)Kate's,Jim's都是名詞所有格形式;
(2)shirt與blouse的區(qū)別:男式襯衫要用shirt表示,而女式襯衫用blouse表達;
(3)trousers(褲子)一詞在英語中要用復(fù)數(shù)形式來表達。因一條褲子有兩只褲筒,故“一條褲子”不應(yīng)譯成a trousers,而應(yīng)譯成a pair of trousers,“兩條褲子”不是two trousers,而是two pairs of trousers,如:
My trousers are black. 我的褲子是黑色的。
英語中shoe(鞋)也常以復(fù)數(shù)形式shoes出現(xiàn)。但有時也可用單數(shù)表示一雙鞋中的一只。如:
-What colour are your shoes? -They're red.
你的鞋是什么顏色的?是紅色的。
One shoe is here. Where is the other one? 一只鞋在這。另一只在哪兒呢?
3. Whose is this shirt? 這件襯衫是誰的?
whose的中文意思為“誰的”,是引導(dǎo)特殊疑問句的疑問詞,常對名詞性物主代詞、形容詞性物主代詞及名詞所有格形式進行提問。
whose與who's的異同:
(1)讀音相同,都讀作[hu:z]
(2)意義、用法不同。whose可單獨使用,也可與名詞連用,表示“誰的……東西”;而who's=who is(是誰)
whose在句中的用法舉例如下:
Whose is this coat? 這件衣服是誰的?
Whose shoes are they?它們是誰的鞋?
4. Let me have a look, please. 請讓我看一看。
此句是當(dāng)需征求對方意見后要看某物時的用語。如:
- Wei Fang, is this your bag? 魏芳,這是你的書包嗎?
-Let me have a look , please. 讓我看看。
5. You must look after your clothes. 你應(yīng)照看好你的衣服。
句中l(wèi)ook after為動詞詞組,譯為“照顧、照看”。如:
Please look after your books. 請照看好你們的書。
must意思是“必須、一定”,與can都屬于情態(tài)動詞,后面跟動詞原形,無人稱、數(shù)的變化。如:
I can see a kite in the picture. 我能在圖片里看見一只風(fēng)箏。
He must look after his bag. 他必須看管好自己的書包。
6. Put it on, please。請把它穿上。
動詞詞組put on是“動詞+副詞”的形式,強調(diào)動作,意思為“穿上、戴上”。注意:若名詞作賓語時,放于短語中間、后面都可;若代詞作賓語時,必須放在put on 的中間。如:
Put your coat on, please./Put on your coat, please. 請穿上你的外套。
用代詞it作賓語,只能使用Put it on, please.最易錯誤地寫成Put on it, please.
7. It looks like yours. 它看起來像是你的。
當(dāng)?shù)谌朔Q單數(shù)it,she,he作主語時,后接的動詞要做變化,即動詞后加s稱為動詞的單數(shù)形式。如:
She looks like Lucy. 她長得像露茜。
Li Ping puts on his trousers. 李平穿上了他的褲子。
Whose blouse is this? 這是誰的襯衣?
Whose shoes are these? 這些是誰的鞋?
上兩句與第54課的Whose is this shirt? 一句對比可知疑問詞whose有兩種用法。
(1)對名詞性物主代詞及不接名詞的所有格提問時,whose常單獨充當(dāng)特殊疑問詞。如:
The brown shoes are his.那雙棕色的鞋是他的。(劃線提問)
Whose are the brown shoes?
That blouse is Kate's. 那件襯衣是凱特的。
Whose is that blouse?
(2)對形容詞性物主代詞和后接名詞所有格提問時,whose后必須加名詞才可充當(dāng)疑句詞,不能單獨使用。如:
It is Jim's pen. 它是吉姆的鋼筆。
Whose pen is it?
Those are Mr. Green's trousers.那是格林先生的褲子。
Whose trousers are those?
8. Let me see. 讓我想想
Let me see.有兩種意思。一是“讓我看看”,另外一個是“讓我想想”,故應(yīng)該通過上下文來確定其意義。如:
--Li Lei, is this your book? 李雷,這是你的書嗎?
--Let me see, please. 請讓我看看。
--What's her name? Do you know? 她叫什么名字?你知道嗎?
--Let me see. Oh, her name is Lucy. 讓我想想,噢,她的名字叫露西。
9. 語音
[a:]字母a在s(s)前及字母組合ar在單詞中的讀音,如:car,classroom
[au]字母組合ou和ow的讀音,如:now,brown,blouse
[R:]字母組合or,oor讀此音,如:morning,floor
[E:]字母組合ir,er的讀音,如:bird,shirt,her
[E]位于詞尾的字母組合er的讀音,如:father,ruler,daughter.
以上為元音。本課只需學(xué)習(xí)一個輔音,字母組合sh在單詞中的發(fā)音為[F],如:she,shoe,English。
