一、教材分析
本單元主要是以談?wù)撨^(guò)去的發(fā)明創(chuàng)造為主線,圍繞一般過(guò)去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)展開(kāi)教學(xué)的。通過(guò)談?wù)搸醉?xiàng)重要發(fā)明的歷史及用途,開(kāi)拓學(xué)生的思路,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生創(chuàng)造精神,并學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用一般過(guò)去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。本節(jié)課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容為sectionA 1a至Grammar Focus.結(jié)構(gòu)分Groupwork,Listening,Pairwork,Grammar Focus四部分,一課時(shí)完成。
二、設(shè)計(jì)思路
1.提倡自主學(xué)習(xí),積極主動(dòng)地參與學(xué)習(xí)。教師課前布置任務(wù),學(xué)生通過(guò)上網(wǎng)、查書(shū)籍等方式查找古今中外發(fā)明創(chuàng)造的相關(guān)材料。
2.重視課堂實(shí)踐。將豐富的教學(xué)資料融于交際活動(dòng),使學(xué)生樂(lè)于參與,主動(dòng)思考,提高語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力,具體方法是根據(jù)教材內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)多種課堂活動(dòng)方式吸引學(xué)生參與,使他們成為課堂的主人,從而達(dá)到教學(xué)目的。
3.將合作探究的方法應(yīng)用于語(yǔ)法的學(xué)習(xí),從初步接觸一般過(guò)去時(shí)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)形式到運(yùn)用交際對(duì)話來(lái)演練這種結(jié)構(gòu)的句型,再到由學(xué)生合作探究,通過(guò)觀察、發(fā)現(xiàn)、討論和探究,進(jìn)而總結(jié)出一般過(guò)去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的構(gòu)成,構(gòu)建出自己的知識(shí)體系。
三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.知識(shí)與技能:
(1)掌握詞匯及其用法;
(2)學(xué)會(huì)談?wù)撝匾l(fā)明的歷史及用途;
(3)學(xué)習(xí)一般過(guò)去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài);
(4)提高學(xué)生聽(tīng)力水平和語(yǔ)言交際能力。
2.情感態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀:
(1)通過(guò)我國(guó)古代的四大發(fā)明這些成就教育學(xué)生熱愛(ài)祖國(guó),并能為我國(guó)的悠久歷史感到自豪;
(2)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)造精神,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生立志成為一名發(fā)明家。
四、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)
1.教學(xué)重點(diǎn):
(1)一般過(guò)去時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),包括它的構(gòu)成及用法;
(2)熟練掌握本課所學(xué)的句型結(jié)構(gòu)。
2.教學(xué)難點(diǎn):
(1)掌握本課聽(tīng)力內(nèi)容;
(2)運(yùn)用所學(xué)句型結(jié)構(gòu)來(lái)談?wù)撝匾l(fā)明的歷史及用途。
五、教學(xué)過(guò)程
1.Step1.Lead in
T: Dear children,we all know,in the morden world there are many useful inventions in our life.You have found some information about them,let’s play a game,I say some information about the inventions and you please tell me what they are,OK?”
設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)明:游戲會(huì)立刻引起學(xué)生的興趣,利用教師的描述來(lái)猜出某項(xiàng)發(fā)明創(chuàng)造,既練習(xí)了學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力、反應(yīng)速度,又引出了本課的部分詞匯,為新課的導(dǎo)入做了鋪墊。
2.Step2.Groupwork (Activity 1a.)
(1)T: Students,Have you finished your homework about the useful inventions? OK,very good!Now let’s see some pictures of the inventions. You can talk about them according to the following questions: What’s the most useful invention?Who invented it?When was it invented?What is it used for?Why do you think it is the most useful invention?
(2)Check the results of the discussion.Ask one or two students to talk about their own opinions.The teacher points something out.

3.Step3.Listening practice (Activity 1b.)
(1)T: Please look at the picture,this is Alice and this is her grandma,they are talking about when the things above were invented. Now listen to the tape and match the inventions with the dates in your books.
(2)Play the recorder,then ask one student to say his answer.
設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)明:對(duì)話中的`艾麗斯是個(gè)與學(xué)生年齡相仿的小女孩,她對(duì)于現(xiàn)代生活中的一些非常熟悉的用品究竟是何時(shí)發(fā)明的并不完全了解,這一點(diǎn)與學(xué)生的經(jīng)歷相似,因此通過(guò)圖片展示及情境說(shuō)明會(huì)使學(xué)生產(chǎn)生強(qiáng)烈的好奇心,急于想了解到這幾種用品的發(fā)明時(shí)間。通過(guò)聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練,既提高了學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力水平,又增長(zhǎng)了他們的課外知識(shí)。
4.Step4.Pairwork (Activity 1c.)
Show the conversation in 1c on the big screen. Give students two tasks:
(1)T: Students,look at the conversation,A and B are talking about when the things were invented. Do you know the answers?Now please work in pairs,practice the conversation.
(2)By practicing the conversations, students can use the target language to make conversations fluently. S o havestudents work in groups to observe, discuss , find and summarize the structure of the passive voice of the past indefinite tense.At last they can grasp the important points in this class.

Show the pictures in 2a and 2b on the big screen,they will attract students’attention. The students will be attracted deeply and want to know when the inventions were invented.At this time,teacher show another drill: What is it used for?It’s used for...
(1)T:Do you know what the strange things are?What are they used for? Who were they invented by?Now let’s listen to the conversation,then you can know the answer.
(2)Have students listen to the conversation and complete the task in 2a and 2b.
(3)Check the answers.

(1)Have students read and translate the sentences.
(2)Stress the structure and using ways of the passive voice of the past indefinite tense.
