2.在It's surprising/ strange/ a pity...以及I'm surprised/ sorry...等句型中,當(dāng)"竟然會"講.例如:
、買t's surprising that you should be so foolish.真令人吃驚,你竟會如此愚蠢!(現(xiàn)在)
、贗t's surprising that you should have failed to pass such an exam.真令人吃驚,這樣的考試你竟然不及格.(已發(fā)生)
3.單獨用"should (not) +have+過去分詞"形式,對已發(fā)生的事表示遺憾或責(zé)備,表達"本該或不該"之意.例如:
、貶e also learns that he should have cared more about his friends.他還明白了他本應(yīng)該多關(guān)心朋友.(高一課本上冊P4)
、贖e shouldn't have let out the secret.他本不該泄露秘密的.(實際情況是"他已泄密".)
二、用于揣測,表示可能或期望,意思是"照理說來、應(yīng)該".
在語氣上should比must弱,但比may/ might強;shouldn't比
can't弱,但強于may/ might not.例如:

、贖e should be having class now.他現(xiàn)在應(yīng)該是在上課.
、跘s far as I know you shouldn't have any problems there.就我所知,在那里你不會遇到任何問題.
、蹵ccording to the schedule,they should have arrived in Shanghai by now/ yesterday.按照計劃,他們現(xiàn)在/昨天應(yīng)該已經(jīng)到達上海了吧.
