Good morning! I am Oscar, the spokesman of the Students‘ Union. On behalf of the Students‘ Union, the main organizer of today‘s sports meeting, I welcome you all to the beautiful stadium. After two months‘ preparation, our annual sports meeting is held on schedule.
Thanks to the support and help from our school leaders and teachers. Though they have many school responsibilities, they have taken time off to take part in our sports activities. Now in China the problem of NEET has been brought into public attention.NEET refers to the group of people who are not currently engaged in education，employment or training，instead they just stay at home，relying on their parents.
There are mainly two reasons for this phenomenon.For one thing， since the expansion of university enrollment in l999，an increasing number of college graduates have poured into the job—hunting market.However， some of them are not fully prepared and become unemployed.For another， some young people are the only child of their family and badly spoilt.As a result，they are psychologically dependent even when they grow up.
To solve this problem，first.colleges or the communities should provide pre-job training courses for the young.Second，parents should cultivate their children's sense of independence in their childhood.Last but not least，college students also have to equip themselves with skills and knowledge and get ready to compete tomorrow.

Many college students stay up very late at night chatting in bed. They chat on various subjects, such as study, love, society and future. Sometimes their chat goes on and on and seems to lead nowhere. Views on this common phenomenon in college life vary from person to person. To my way of thinking, bedtime chat is beneficial for students.
First of all, bedtime chat is good for freshmen at college. Students from all over the country are naturally curious about each other. Bedtime chat seems to be a good answer to their curiosity. Through a good bedtime chat, students in the same dorm would soon earn about each other's likes and dislikes, which can result in a better understanding among roommates. Secondly, it is inevitable to chat on study in bed. Bedtime chat helps with academic development in that it makes up for what each has missed in their daytime lessons. Thirdly, bedtime chat helps broaden students' horizon. This is especially true when the roommates are of a diverse set in terms of culture and geography. Different customs reflecting a different culture and different scenery representing their respective geographical conditions are referred to and shared in their chat, which is not only enjoyable but also beneficial. However, one can never neglect the fact that a bedtime chat carried on for too long will eat much into their time for sleep and affect study the following day.
In a word, I firmly believe that bedtime chat in dorms at college has much more advantages than disadvantages only if it doesn't go on for too long.

首先，臥談會(huì)對(duì)大學(xué)新生是有好處的。來(lái)自全國(guó)各地的學(xué)生自然會(huì)互相好奇。臥談會(huì)似乎是他們好奇心的一個(gè)好答案。通過(guò)一次很好的臥談會(huì)，同一寢室的學(xué)生會(huì)很快了解彼此的喜惡，這樣能夠帶來(lái)室友間的互相理解。其次，睡覺(jué)時(shí)談?wù)搶W(xué)習(xí)是不可避免的。臥談會(huì)有助于學(xué)術(shù)發(fā)展是因?yàn)樗鼜浹a(bǔ)了每個(gè)人白天上課錯(cuò)過(guò)的知識(shí)。再次，臥談會(huì)有助于拓寬學(xué)生的'視野。當(dāng)室友們文化地理背景存在差異的時(shí)候，這一點(diǎn)尤其正確。不同的風(fēng)俗反映了不同的文化，不同的風(fēng)景展現(xiàn)了他們各自的地理環(huán)境，這些都會(huì)在談話中涉及或分享到，這樣不僅是享受的而且是有益的。但是，不能忽略的事實(shí)是，臥談會(huì)持續(xù)時(shí)間太長(zhǎng)的話會(huì)占用太多睡眠時(shí)間從而影響第二天的學(xué)習(xí)。
總之，我堅(jiān)信，只要持續(xù)時(shí)間不是太長(zhǎng)，大學(xué)里的寢室臥談會(huì)利大于弊。

I felt very bad early today because everything went wrong.In the morning my alarm clock didn't work and I didn't went school on time.In the kichen my mum was angry and hooling at me.She thought I went to bed too late last night.On the way to school it started to rain and I forgot to bring my umbrella.What bad luck!
Then in the classroom I found that I brought a wrong test book and no pen.When I was eating my lunch I found the rice taste sour and there was a worm in my apple.In the afternoon my stomach felt strange.It must be the sour rice.How could this be!
Finally when I got home everything became much better.My stomach was fine and my mother prepared a delicious dinner for me.After dinner I had a nice hot bath.Right now I felt great.I hope everything can be fine tomorrow.
