my face turned crimson, i started breathing hard, i grimaced—and then yelled: “thank you!”i’m a long way from perfect, but i’m getting better. my suggestion is that you get in the habit of asking the important people in your life how you can do things better. and be ready for an answer. some people may tell you things like “l(fā)ook out for the red light.” or “you’re going too fast around the corner.”
when this happens, take a deep breath. ask yourself:“what is the cost of listening to this?” remember that there is possibly some potential benefit. then just say:“thank you.”

Most of us deal with computers in one way or another every day.
In short, the computer has had such a great impact on so many areas of our lives that I feel its invention was the most memorable change of the twentieth century.

He says: any one would make me the greatest king that ever lived, with palaces and gardens and fine dinners, and wines and coaches, and beautiful clothes, and hundreds of servants, on condition that I should rather be a poor man in a garret with plenty of books than a king who did not love reading.Precious and priceless are the blessings which the books scatter around our daily paths. We walk, in imagination, with the noblest spirits, through the most sublime and enchanting regions.
Without stirring from our firesides we may roam to the most remote regions of the earth, or soar into realms when spender shapes of unearthly beauty flock to meet us, where milton angels peal in our ears the choral hymns of paradise. science, art, literature, philosophy,---all that man has though, all that man has done,----the eperience that has been bought with the sufferings of a hundred generations,---all are garnered up for us in the world of books.

上課了，老師讓我和江志鵬去辦公室把一疊復(fù)印件拿過(guò)來(lái)，我們倆左爭(zhēng)右搶，都想搶到這份功勞，由于用力太猛，復(fù)印件被我們倆撕成了兩半，我們倆都不知所措，只好回教室跟老師說(shuō)沒(méi)有看見(jiàn)，來(lái)隱瞞這個(gè)事實(shí)。
下課了，江志鵬對(duì)我說(shuō)：“沒(méi)事兒，如果老師問(wèn)你，你就說(shuō)復(fù)印件不小心被我撕破了，我來(lái)承擔(dān)所有的責(zé)任！”這樣不太好吧！我還沒(méi)答應(yīng)，江志鵬就向回家的路上跑，還回過(guò)頭來(lái)說(shuō)：“就這么定了！”
第二次去上課，老師便嚴(yán)肅地問(wèn)我倆：“為什么我的復(fù)印件會(huì)跑到辦公室的垃圾桶里去了，而且還被撕成了兩半？”“老……老師，昨天……”我話還沒(méi)說(shuō)完，江志鵬就打斷了我，焦急地說(shuō)：“老師，昨天是張琬晨不小心把復(fù)印件給撕破了，只是我不敢告訴你！”我驚呆了，我簡(jiǎn)直不敢相信自己的耳朵。老師不屑地看了看我，罰我到辦公室去好好反省，我想把事情真正的原因告訴老師，老師生氣的說(shuō)：“我不想聽(tīng)你解釋。一再狡辯只會(huì)害了你自己！”我含著眼淚，不服的跑進(jìn)了辦公室。
老師，我想對(duì)你說(shuō)：“不能因別人的一句話而隨便冤枉人，一定要弄清楚事情的青紅皂白，搞清楚事情的原因，經(jīng)過(guò)再來(lái)判斷。
