"During the Qingming Festival,it rains in succession, and pedestrians on the road want to break their souls.Excuse me,where is the restaurant? The shepherd boy points to Xinghua village in the distance." When I think of this poem by a great poet of the Tang Dynasty,I think that the Tomb Sweeping Day is coming, and there is only one step left.
On the day of Tomb Sweeping Day,my father said to me early in the morning,"its Tomb Sweeping Day.Its time to worship our ancestors. This is our Chinese traditional custom." I said proudly,"who doesnt know,if you know it alone, dont hurry to sacrifice Zoe." my mother also said: "if you dont say it,we also know that today is Tomb Sweeping Day." I sang with my mother so that my father didnt dare to say anything.
After a ten minute walk,we finally arrived at Grandpas grave.I took out the fruit and pastries, put them away, lit the incense, took them in my hand, bowed deeply to my grandfather and said goodbye. Then I took out paper money and lit them in front of my grandfathers tomb. After the father finished the Chinese etiquette to Grandpa,he took out firecrackers and lit them. After a while, there was a "crackling" sound in the sky, which was deafening, like thunder in the sky.Later,I silently made a wish in front of my grandfathers tomb: "I hope my grandfather will bless me to study to a higher level,my family will be happy, healthy and successful in school."
It is worthy of being a traditional festival of our Chinese nation.I think it is so meaningful.

清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 6
Today is Tomb Sweeping Day.According to our customs here,it is to mourn the dead, eat tomb sweeping dumplings and sweep tombs.
I checked the information on the Internet. In the past, the customs of Qingming Festival were very rich. There were a series of sports activities, such as banning fire, sweeping tombs, outing, swinging,Cuju, playing polo, ing willows and so on.It is said that ing willows can predict the weather. There is an old saying that "the willow is green, the rain is misty, the willow is dry,and the sky is bright".
Today,my family is no exception.Early in the morning, grandma and aunt began to get busy.Grandma kneaded dough and aunt made Qingming dumplings.I also want to help,so I first took a piece of flour and kneaded it round, like a small football. Then I put my fingers in it and turned it slowly along the edge, turning and turning, and kneaded it into a small "bowl".Then put the stuffing into a small "bowl" and then close it and knead it round.I accidentally flattened it.Oh,its a great pity.I thought: it doesnt matter.Failure is the mother of success. Then I did it again and succeeded as expected; After a while, grandma steamed the prepared Qingming dumplings in a steamer.A few minutes later,Qingming dumplings sent out an attractive fragrance and filled the whole house.Grandma brought up the Qingming dumpling. Before the Qingming dumpling was cold,I couldnt wait to catch one and gobble it up.
Im very happy this Qingming Festival. The most unforgettable thing is the Qingming dumpling I made. You can have a taste next time!

I got up early on Tomb Sweeping Day and had the opportunity to go out to play.Im very happy.
After dinner, its time to go,but why hasnt there been any movement from Mom? It turned out that my mother suddenly had another toothache and it hurt badly. My father hurried out to buy medicine, but the medicine he bought didnt seem to work.Dad said he couldnt go to play.He had to accompany his mother to see his teeth. He couldnt leave me at home alone. We had to go to the hospital with the whole family.Dad asked that several hospitals were on holiday. Finally,we went to Puxi stomatological hospital.
There are not many people in the hospital, but my mothers teeth may be really bad.The young doctor aunt said that there was no way to deal with the emergency. She just prescribed a painkiller for my mother and told my mother to go to the clinic on Saturday or Sunday. My mother is really pathetic. No wonder she insists on urging me to brush my teeth and rinse my mouth.
It was more than two oclock in the afternoon when we got out of the hospital. We were standing on the roadside.I still wanted to go to Chongming Island, but I didnt mean to say it.My mother seemed to see my mind and told me and my father that the medicine I took when I came out had worked. At this time,my teeth dont hurt anymore.Theres still some time.Otherwise, lets go to Shidongkou wharf. Its very kind of mom.We can finally go on our way.My heart has flown to Chongming Island.

Today is Tomb Sweeping Day.My mother and I went to grandmas house.Grandmas house lives in the suburbs. The air there is very fresh and the scenery is beautiful and pleasant,so I like to go to grandmas house very much.
After lunch in the afternoon,my sister and I went to grandmas old house, where there was a vegetable garden. We went to the vegetable garden first to collect vegetables. The varieties of vegetables in the garden are really rich, such as green vegetables,coriander,garlic,leek,spinach...It seems that collecting vegetables is not an easy job! You see,my mother,my aunt,my sister,my grandfather and my grandmother are constantly collecting vegetables: my grandmother is collecting vegetables, while I am the only one with a small pair of scissors pulling vegetables and cutting vegetables.I first pull up the vegetables, and then cut the roots and soil.Because I cut too much,I cut many vegetable leaves. My sister said I wasted, but I couldnt cut them any more,so I had to give up,I took my sister to fly a kite on the ridge. There were golden rape flowers on both sides of the ridge. My sister and I ran and chased happily on the ridge. The smell of rape flowers came to our nostrils. We had a good time.
Back to the old house,my sister and I fed the chickens under the chickens and brought vegetables and leaves to the chickens.Sure enough, many chickens gathered together to eat.Even the old hen squatting in the chicken nest came out to eat,"the old hen laid eggs!" Grandpa shouted at my sister and me and quickly took out two eggs from the chicken nest. You see, another one is double yellow! I didnt expect to learn some new knowledge when feeding chickens! splendid!
In the twinkling of an eye,it was evening. It was time for me to go home. While sitting on the bus,I thought,"its good to go outing during the Qingming Festival.I must go outing more in the future!"
清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 9
Another year is Tomb Sweeping Day,also known as grave sweeping day, which is the day when we pay tribute to our dead relatives and go to their graves.
Today,I got up very early because I was going to the countryside to go to my grandfathers grave. My grandfathers grave was in a county next to us. It took about an hour to take the bus. It shook all the way and arrived unconsciously. As soon as I got off the bus, wow! There are so many people! The county and the countryside got together today. We first went to the street to buy some small paper works and went up the mountain. It is said that there was a lot of rain during the Qingming Festival. This years Qingming Festival is different. Its sunny. We can see the ancestral tombs on the mountain all the way. We first went to Grandpas grave. According to our custom here,we should first remove the weeds next to the grave, and then carry out the ancestor worship ceremony,This year, the government stipulated that incense burning paper could not be lit on the mountain to avoid fire,so we just pressed some paper money on the grave symbolically, and surrounded the grave with YINGSHANHONG picked by ourselves.
After sweeping grandpas grave,we have to sweep grandpas grave again. After crossing a mountain,we arrive. Grandpa died of illness,so he is very young. On Grandpas grave, grandma remembered many of Grandpas past events and cried loudly. We all felt the same sadness when we pressed her down the mountain.
The one-day tomb sweeping activity ended in this way. Although it was difficult to climb the mountain,I finished the activity smoothly with the team. I like Tomb Sweeping Day.
清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 10
This years Tomb Sweeping Day,I learned how to commemorate my ancestors.
Today is Tomb Sweeping Day. My mother took my brother and I back to the public house in the countryside. Behind the house, there are dense bamboos, bamboo shoots and buds drilling out of the ground, and there are many wild vegetables along the river: wild celery, duck feet, wild fungus, water fern... Especially at the gate of the yard, there are several eye-catching camellia trees and peach trees, which are full of bright red camellia and peach trees are full of pink peach flowers. My brother and I counted curiously and found that camellia has 6 petals,128 stamens, peach has 5 petals and 51 stamens. If you count a few more flowers, the number will be different.
In the afternoon,I went to the mountain with my grandfather, uncle, mother, brother and brother to sweep grandmas grave. In front of grandmas tomb,Grandpa cut a small tree with a mountain knife,ed it on Grandmas tomb, hung the mountain money on the small tree, and then lit candles and firecrackers. Finally,we all paid three respects in front of grandmas tomb before leaving.
On the way home,I asked my mother,"why do you sweep tombs on Tomb Sweeping Day?" Mother said,"it is a fine tradition of the Chinese nation to sweep the tombs of deceased relatives on Tomb Sweeping Day. Sweeping the tombs is a concrete manifestation of commemorating our ancestors, remembering our relatives and filial piety. Whether we are alive or dead,we should respect, love and be grateful."
After listening to my mothers words,I understood the significance of Tomb Sweeping on Tomb Sweeping Day.
清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 11
Today is Saturday. It is also a special sacred holiday -- Qingming Festival.
During the Qing Ming Festival,we went back to the tomb sweeping. Today,I came to my ancestors grave, ready to sweep the grave for them. I removed the grass from their grave with a hoe.
Weeding is seemingly simple, but it is very tiring. If you dont help the adults, you may have to rest for a while, but I cant get rid of it even if I dont help you two days.
A piece of light in front of the grave, feeling very monotonous, lonely. So after second days of supper,I ran to the mountain and dug several fruit trees and planted them in front of the grave.
Qingming Festival is an important festival. Lets remember this sacred and special holiday. Remember that on this day,we must help our ancestors to go to the grave.
One more thing,in this festival,I believe that you have a missing person! I miss my grandmother most is my grandmother,my grandmother left me forever when I was very young, how I hope she can e back to me again, this is the person I miss most, who you miss most in the Qingming Festival
清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 12
Since I can remember, every year on the day of Tomb Sweeping Day,my father takes me back to my hometown to visit my grandfathers grave. This year is no exception.
Early in the morning, there were a lot of traffic on the suburban roads. I guess they all went to worship their relatives. Unknowingly, they drove into the country road and rode on the asphalt road in the country. Through the window, the rural air was so fresh. The wheat seedlings in the field fluctuated up and down by the spring wind, like the waves of the sea. The orchards on the side of the road were full of white pear flowers and pink peach flowers, which was a beautiful picture,Its a paradise.
We soon arrived at Grandpas tomb. I first swept the tombstone for Grandpa, burned paper money, poured a glass of wine and set off firecrackers before leaving. I said to grandpa in my heart,"Grandpa,Ill come to see you next years Tomb Sweeping Day."
清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 13
Qingming Festival is coming. The school organized us to visit the tomb in Nanshan park.
After arriving at Nanshan Park,we went to the martyrs memorial square, held various activities, and presented our own small white flowers. After the event,we began to have a picnic.
The martyrs have paid their precious lives for our motherland and construction. Their blood has dyed the earth red,the national flag red and the red scarf worn on us. They are so brave,so strong and so great. They gave their lives for the beautiful motherland and their youth for our beautiful life.
Their hearts are shining, their blood is bright red,and their love will never change. Without these martyrs,we would not have our beautiful motherland. Without these martyrs,we would not be happy today.
An idea came into my mind: we should inherit the martyrs will, study hard and become the pillars of the construction of the motherland.
清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 14
Today,it is tomb-sweeping day,I,grandpa,grandma,and father,mother,our great-grandson three generations set off!
Grandpa bought the ghost money, the sacrifice,a chicken and a bundle of incense in the street.
Grandma is tidying up the things to bring.
Set off! Our family is getting on the bus and walking on the road.
Suddenly,I asked,"grandpa, what does a great-grandfather look like?" Grandpa was silent and I turned to see that grandpa was carsick.
I thought: father should look like his father,I solved this mystery myself.
At my great-grandfathers grave,a gust of wind caressed my face,as if my great-grandfather had confided in the wind to tell me.
I knelt in front of the tombstone, and I thought I heard my great-grandfather tell me to study hard, and I said yes.
"Its normal to get sick and die." Grandpa said.
The paper money was burnt out and we all went home.

Similarities and Differences between Easter and Qing Ming Jie
Qing Ming Jie is a traditional Chinese festival celebrated 106 days after the winter solstice to mark the middle of Spring and also Tomb Sweeping Day – to commemorate their ancestors by burning fake money for the departed. Young and old pray before their ancestors, sweep the tombs and offer food to their ancestors.
As for Easter, comes from Eastre,an ancient Anglo-Saxon goddess, originally of the dawn. In pagan times an annual spring festival was held in her honor. Some Easter customs have come from this and other pre-Christian spring festivals. Others come from the Passover feast of the Jews, observed in memory of their deliverance from Egypt. The resurrection of Jesus took place during the Passover. In the early days of Christianity Easter and the Passover were closely associated

It is another year from the Tomb Sweeping Day,"it rains one after another during the Tomb Sweeping Day,and pedestrians on the road want to break their souls". Wet souls are walking on the wet road.
Early in the morning, the clear and bright sunshine came warm from the window. After the leaves softened,it was like a runaway Mustang being put on a bridle. The rebellious River met Dujiangyan. It slowed down, softened and tamed, turned into extremely irregular light spots of large and small shapes, and gently threw them on people.
Under the warm sunshine,my heart is a little cold, because a line of bold black words "Sichuan Liangshan fire,30 people died" suddenly appeared on the page just opened. No one knows what kind of pain they have experienced in the face of this sudden fire. I cant even imagine the pain of the burning flame. Today,my father, mother and my aunt went to the grave for my dead grandfather. I put the sheeps stomach gouged out by my grandmother into grandpas grave, and then burned paper money for Grandpa. As soon as it was lit,a gust of wind suddenly blew and burned the sheeps stomach. The sheeps stomach was lit. My father hurried to save the sheeps stomach. The sheeps stomach was not saved and fell on the firewood nearby.
Soon the hay was also lit. The fire quickly burned to the next big poplar tree. I hurried to my uncles home and took a shovel to my father quickly. Then he went home and carried a bucket of water. My grandmother saw him and asked,"whats wrong?" I said,"its on fire!" Grandma also picked up a shovel and ran to the fire. When I was sending water, the fire was not saved, but there was another fire I quickly put to water. Grandma saw me sweating all over my head and praised me painfully that I was the bravest man!
Ah! Its safe at last. Do you think its dangerous today!
清明節(jié)的初二英語作文 32
Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-sweeping Day,is one of the 24 segments of the Chinese calendar. It normally falls on the 4th or 5th of April, between spring plowing and summer weeding, and is a time to pay respects to ones ancestors and to tidy their gravesite.
Qingming is popularly associated with Jie Zi Zhui, who lived in Shanxi province in 600 B.C. Legend has it that Jie saved his starving lords life by serving a piece of his own leg. When the lord succeeded in becoming the ruler of a small principality,he invited his faithful follower to join him. However,Jie declined his invitation, preferring to lead a hermits life with his mother in the mountains.
Believing that he could force Jie out by burning the mountain, the lord ordered his men to set the forest on fire. To his consternation,Jie chose to remain where he was and was burnt to death. To commemorate Jie,the lord ordered all fires in every home to be put out on the anniversary of Jies death.
